Junior year is a scary but exciting time for parents and their students. This is the time that you know what to expect. You know what to expect from your student and their grades or what it’s like with them leaving home after summer is over for the third year. Junior year can be a scary thought because it’s only 2 more years to graduation, 1 year till your student applies to graduate school or for jobs, and 6 months before their start taking their GRE, MCAT, or LSAT if they need to. Always remember to encourage your student to be the best they can be and don’t get upset if something doesn’t go right. This is a stressful time for them, but with your support they can make it through it. With all this stress, encourage your student to have fun with some friends before the 2 years that they still have are over. Before you and they know it they will be walking across the stage getting their diploma. They will be moving to another state for a job or graduate school possibly and their lives as adults will have officially started. But before this time starts make sure that you spend as much time with them and keep encouraging them to finish their college careers they best they can!
