During my past three years at the University of Arkansas I have learned that the one thing I cannot live without is coffee. Lucky for me there are ten places on campus that serve great coffee all the time. I have visited all of these locations and will be going into detail about some of them and their atmosphere, convenience, and special features.

The first, and my personal favorite location, is Peabody Perks. This little shop is located in Peabody Hall in between Maple Street and Old Main. I have had many early morning classes in this building, and it has been so convenient to grab a quick cup before class. The shop is a little small, but holds several seating options that are usually filled with students working on homework or chatting about their day. Not only does the coffee taste great, it’s cheap and fast! Peabody perks also has a large menu of specialty coffee drinks as well as an assortment of pastries, chips, and sandwiches.

Another Fayetteville classic is Arsaga’s, which is located in the law building right off of the Union Mall area. Before moving to Arkansas I had no clue how popular Arsaga’s was; not only is there several locations around town to grab brunch and coffee, there is even a mini location on campus! Arsaga’s coffee is probably the most rich, and delicious coffee I have found on campus and to top it all off, you can enjoy it while looking out an entire wall of windows showcasing the hub of campus. This location is great for students walking from the Maple Hill residence hall or just hopping off Razorback Transit!

I can’t write about all the great coffee stops on campus without including Starbucks, of course! If you are new to coffee or want more options that don’t include it, this is the stop for you. Starbucks is conveniently located underneath the main dining hall, Brough, and right in the middle of a majority of the community residence halls. There is ample seating space for anyone looking to hang out in between classes, or work on some homework. The best feature about this location is the many windows that wrap around the building. I love walking by and checking out how long the line is, or seeing friends enjoy their coffee.

Club red is an integral part of the U of A, with two locations on either side of campus. Not only does Club Red accept Razorbucks, it also has a ton of different chips, candy, nuts, bars, and drinks to choose from. The main location is attached to the Union, and the other one is right around the corner from Starbucks. Club Red has saved me many times I stayed up late in Mullins library working on homework because they are usually open until 12 am.

Before coming to the U of A I had never had Einstein Bro’s bagels or coffee. After having several classes in Willard J. Walker Hall my freshman year I became very familiar with their menu. I probably stopped there two to three times a week and would grab an iced coffee and plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese (and I wonder why I gained the freshman 15). A majority of the students that stop here are just coming onto campus from Harmon Garage, or are business majors coming out of the Walton School of Business. Einstein Bro’s has the best locations because not only is it smack dab in the middle of the business center, there is also another location inside the Bell Engineering building.

These are some of the main stops on campus I like to go to, but there are so many other smaller places on campus. No matter where you live or what your major is, there will most likely be coffee just a couples steps away from your door!
