
Meet Taylor Casey. Taylor is a junior Kinesiology major from Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to being a Parent Ambassadors, she is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Her favorite place to eat and study is Arsaga’s and she enjoys being outdoors and hiking around Fayetteville.
Whether you are coming down for a weekend to spend with your student or your student wants to splurge and eat out one night, here are the 10 ten places to eat in Fayetteville!
Hammontree’s: this restaurant is right on Dickson Street and is perfect if your student is wanting a grilled cheese and some soup on a fall or winter afternoon. Now these are not just regular grilled cheeses they are gourmet and are unlike something you have never tasted before!
Sassy’s Red House: lets say your student is in the mood for some BBQ. Tell them to go over to Sassy’s and try their famous BBQ of NWA!
Deluxe Burger: this burger joint is right on Dickson so it is easy access for your student to walk to. Deluxe burger has a variety of burgers to choose from like their famous deluxe burger with deluxe sauce or their Arizona spicy burger. Your students will surly get a good meal here!
Arsaga’s Depot: Maybe your student is in the mood for a weekend brunch with their friends or just wants a nice quiet place to study. Arsaga’s is the place! With their amazing brunch and lunch menu you can either get a nice home cooked breakfast or a sandwich for studying with at lunch. Also don’t forget about their amazing coffee bar that has homemade syrups for their coffee.
Tacos 4 Life: Tacos 4 life isn’t your regular taco joint. They put a little twist on their food. From their amazing queso to the unique combinations of tacos that they have put together you will never leave there without a smile on your face. And a bonus to this restaurant is that every meal you buy a meal is given to a child in hunger around the world.
Grub’s: Grub’s is on Dickson Street and is just a walk away for your student. Whether you want to go there for a dinner or to watch the game Grub’s is great for either! They have a variety of food and are just like you’re at home all American restaurant.
Kream: when your student calls you and says they want something sweet send them over to Kream on Dickson Street. This place is brand new to Fayetteville this year! You are able to get regular ice cream here or if you are feeling adventurous you can make an ice cream sandwich out of a donut, cookie, or brownie and ice cream.
U.S. Pizza: U.S. Pizza is a great place to go when your student wants to go out and have some pizza instead of ordering it in. They have the perfect individual size pizza or you can order a large and share with a group!
Tokyo Sushi: if your student has that craving for sushi Tokyo is the place to go! They are located on Dickson Street just a walk away and have very fast service. So whether they need to grab some lunch in between class or they want to go have dinner with some friends Tokyo will make sure they are out in a timely manner. Along with fast service they have some great sushi combinations that are only for Razorbacks!
Farmer’s Table Café: Farmer’s Table is small family owned restaurant around the corner from campus. Their menu is always changing because it goes with the seasons and what food is in season at the moment, which always makes them the hot spot to be on the weekends when you want to go out for breakfast with your roommates!
